What I like

          Eating time

 I like eating by myself because I like peace and quiet. 

I like eating by myself but I can't because at my house

there is only yelling and my mum and dad and sisters and brothers

annoy me every single day. I really like eating hot chips by myself mostly,

but it will never happen but I hope it does. I can't really eat by myself

because my mum gives us food so we have to eat in the living room

together or I can get some food and go in  my  room and eat.

                        And that's why I like eating by myself.

2020 Olympics, Momiji wins gold.

For reading today I copied an article from the Olympics 2020 website.  I made some questions on it.  Do you think you can answer the questions?

Momiji Nishiya of Japan won the gold medal while Rayssa Leal of Brazil took silver.

Funa Nakayama who is 16 won the bronze medal for the host nation.

The street event is notable for the youth of its competitors - the average age of the finalists was 14.

Nishiya, winner of a world championship silver in Rome last month, moved into gold medal position after scoring 4.66 points with her penultimate trick to total 15.26, displacing Leal, who finished with 14.64.

At 13 years and 330 days old Nishiya becomes one of the youngest ever Olympic champions.

During the heats Leal managed two flawless runs, while China's Zeng Wenhui, 16, impressed by landing technically complicated tricks that impressed commentators.

Also making the cut were Roos Zwetsloot from the Netherlands and Margielyn Didal of the Philippines.

Skaters from Brazil and Japan have dominated street skateboarding since the sport debuted at the Olympics on Sunday.

Japan's Yuto Horigome made history on Sunday by winning the first gold medal of skateboarding at the Olympics, landing a series of technical tricks while braving Tokyo's relentless heat. Brazil's Kelvin Hoefler won silver in the contest.

Brazil's Leal has said her skateboarding career began in earnest six years ago after Tony Hawk shared a video of her skating in a fairy costume. The two met up last week at the Olympic venue, with Leal posting an Instagram video of the two fist-bumping on the side of the street course.

On Monday athletes competed in front of empty stands without roars of approval from fans when they landed difficult moves.

The lack of spectators - enforced due to an increase in Covid-19 cases in the capital - affected Japan's Aori Nishimura, but she said she accepted it as part of these unusual Games.

"Even without spectators, I'm trying to enjoy the mood here and skate my own way," she said.

On a fine day a man named john he was 29 years old  and when he was a kid he was bullied alot and the bully was named was jackson, and until now john is an adult he was very good at punching wood so he decided to Join a boxing club,when he tried to Join but the man behind the counter said “sorry we already hired someone” and a few seconds ladder a man ruched out the door and on the way out he goes he says” I DON'T WANT TO COME BACK TO THIS PLACES EVER AGAIN”so the man behind the counter said “ok you're in but you have to sign these papers”so john did,2 years later he became a pro at boxing and rown 3 his opponent was the bulley jackson and jackson said “I'M GOING TO KILL THIS DUDE” John was not scared he was confident,  so he jumped in the boxing ring jackson and john was fighting it was cool it was awesome the crowd goes wild, both of them got tired but john did not stop he went for a uppercut and he went for a hook then jackson was down and john was so proud of himself,and the crowd was screaming out  john cena “john cena i like it”that is how john got his nickname.

why are pulleys useful

 

Last wednesday we done a science exhibition,our experiment 

was a pulley,How to use a pulley, is when you use a rope and a pulley and put the rope on the pulley and then you holed the pulley in side the air and you put a heavy weight on the bottom on the rope and then pull on the rope and the you can lift the heavy weight .The pulley is much easier to pick up heavy things but if you pick up a heavy thing with your hands you will struggle trying to pick it up but if you use a pulley and a rope then it will be much easier.

 On friday it was the day that we had to show our projected in the hall  but some people had to display there projected so the other people can see other project.when i was in the hall and seeing the  other kids and sean years display,my favorite one was a project called you catch it you have it and the thing they thru is a chocolate mello and in the inside was pink marshmallow it was yummy and cool at the same time that's why i like that project.10 minutes ealer.in class we were about to go in the hall to see the project,i was drawing a picture that says VIP NZ because i thought it will be funny that's why i did it.i like all of the project because it was so cool but then the bell raining so we had to go and play on the playground,then we hod to go back in class.

On Tuesday we were going to Goat Island,when we were on the bus  it was raining but it was getting better and better so we were singing songs, but it was still rainy,and after a few minutes ladder I got hungry so I asked mr nidoo if i called eat  and he said yes,so i eat and kids were singing and the parents  .

 When we were about to go I got excited. When we got there we weren't at goat island because there was a dead whale washed up on the sand at goat island ,so that's why we couldn't go to go to goat island so we went to matheson bay, it was still fun snorkeling Cute because that was the hole reason why we went, when i was snorkeling me and mona found a lot of fish.And after the snorkeling we were eating because we were hungry 

 

After we went snorkeling we were with a lady. I call her fishy lady because she knows some things about fish and i call her fishy lady cuz I forgot her name. So when we were with the fish lady she took us to the creek to listen to all the beautiful birds,and when we were with the fish lady she gave us boal and in the boal were leaves and bugs, and in the boal looked like a mini crek it looked so cool and it looked cute.and after that we went for a bush walk but after that we eat with the parents and we were about to laef Matheson Bay when i saw a bench on a mini mountain so i asked mr nidoo if i could go up there and he said yes so i went up there i saw an anchor and at the bottom of the anchor said recovered from this bay in 1973 ANCHOR & CHAIN MOORINGS FOR VESSELS BUILT HERE BY MATHESONS 100 YEARS EARLIER,it was pretty cool when i saw it.then we hat to go back to Glen innes School so we can go home but we were still on the bus because it takes 2 hours to go to Matheson bay or from Matheson bay  to Glen innes school,when we were on the bus we were singing songs like how we came to Matheson bay,and we were eating in the bus on the way to school, when we were at school i wanted to go back but too bad i don't know where is Matheson bay is?.

What do we do on mother's day

On mother's day we celebrate and give good stuff to our mum because that’s a good thing to do. Mother’s day is like a vocation for mums, i just got jealous because  on mothers day it’s just like a vocation, and i got jealous because i have never gone on a vocation my whole life.

’What did i do on Mother’s day’

On mother's day I did not do anything because my mum was busy and I had to look for my uniform, I had to look  for my uniform because I lost it. So that's why I did not celebrate mothers day.
